Who we are

The FIIF activities are managed by a Management Board (MB) consisting of up to 16 members with a range of competences to meet the three objectives of its mission that are to promote and assist:

1. the fusion research community in the realisation of a DEMO design including industrial constraints i.e. Road Map

2. in technology transfer and spin off generation

3. in the development of skills in industry to position European industry at the forefront of fusion technology and therefore anticipate any future fusion commercial opportunities

For each objective, a specific Working Group (WG) has been created.

In addition to the MB members, a number of Experts (from the European Commission, Fusion for Energy (F4E), EUROfusion Consortium and the Fusion Research Institutions) and Observers are participating as well in the FIIF meetings and activities.

The main principles for the forum are:

• Openness
  Association and participation by any European Industry or interested parties
  
• Transparency
  wide dissemination of information
  
• Effectiveness
  ability to mobilise industrial expertise to deliver the forums objectives
